The Jay Street Fire Station — named for Liam Jay — anchors the corner in red brick, with a polished brass bell over the door, patriotic bunting across the front, and a pair of globe sconces lighting the way in.

It's the most architectural of the shopfronts, and it shares party walls with the Clothier's and the Sweet Shoppe to close the corner. The design is measured and modeled; plans are on the way.
